Article Processing Charges (APC)

Genius Journal of Nursing (GJN) is an open-access journal. All articles published in the journal are freely accessible online without subscription or paywall barriers, allowing readers worldwide to read, download, and share scholarly content without restriction.

To support the sustainability of the editorial and publication process—including peer review management, DOI registration, digital archiving, copyediting, layout formatting, and online publication—the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) as outlined below.

APC Policy

Indonesian author(s): IDR 200,000 per accepted manuscript
International (non-Indonesian) author(s): No charge

The APC is payable only after the manuscript has been formally accepted following the peer-review process. The journal does not charge any submission fees.

Payment instructions will be communicated directly to the corresponding author through the journal’s official email after the acceptance decision has been issued.

Editorial Independence

Payment of the APC does not influence editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of:

Academic merit
Originality and novelty
Methodological rigor
Ethical compliance
Relevance to the journal’s scope

Acceptance decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board following the peer-review process.

Communication and Payment Procedures

All official communications regarding APC payments are conducted exclusively through the journal’s authorized editorial email address. Authors are advised not to respond to any third-party communications offering guaranteed publication or requesting payment outside the journal’s official procedures.
