Reference Manager Usage

All manuscripts submitted to Genius Journal of Public Health (GJPH) must follow the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th edition citation style for both in-text citations and the reference list.

Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote, or other equivalent tools to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and proper formatting of references.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all references are complete, accurate, and correspond precisely to the cited sources prior to manuscript submission.


Reference Requirements

Manuscripts submitted to GJPH must meet the following reference requirements:

  • Minimum 20 references
  • Preferably published within the last 10 years
  • At least 85% of references should be journal articles
  • Each reference should include a DOI or URL when available
  • Authors are encouraged to cite reputable international journals
